About The Position

Shift : Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 12.5 Hours (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent acute inpatient psychiatric experience required; experience in addictions, detox, or corrections preferred

License : Active and unrestricted State Registered Nurse License

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Must-Have : Strong crisis intervention skills; ability to manage patients with behavioral and psychiatric conditions; effective communication and teamwork abilities

Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse with acute inpatient psychiatric experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring of mental and physical health status, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires proficiency in de-escalation techniques and crisis management.

Experience with addictions, detoxification, or correctional healthcare populations is highly valued.
