Job Title : Senior IT Auditor

Aligned Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Auditor for a well respected company. A publicly traded Fortune 500 organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior IT Auditor to join its internal audit team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of IT environments across multiple subsidiaries and business units, supporting the company's commitment to risk management, compliance, and operational excellence.

Position Overview :

The Senior IT Auditor will play a key role in evaluating IT risks, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented setting and is looking to expand their skills in IT audit and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, execute, and document audits of general IT controls and application controls in accordance with SOX

Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT systems and control frameworks

Review and assess SOC (System and Organization Controls) reports

Communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to management clearly and professionally

Perform special reviews and audits at the request of senior leadership

Track audit progress and ensure timely completion of assignments

Assist with the implementation and follow-up of audit recommendations

Contribute to the development of IT audit strategies and initiatives

Qualifications & Experience :

3–4 years of professional experience in IT audit or a related field

Strong understanding of IT audit principles, practices, and internal control frameworks

Familiarity with IT environments including applications, networks, databases, and platforms

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Working knowledge of ERP systems is a plus

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA are preferred

Spanish language skills are a plus
