Coshocton Regional Medical Center is a 56-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving East Central Ohio, providing 24-hour emergency services and acute care services, including a network of hospital-based physician clinics. Coshocton Regional is an Accredited Chest Pain and Heart Failure Center and has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with national standards for health care quality and safety.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.
