Overview
As an embedded member of the USTA Coaching team, you will craft engaging written content that connects with our coaching community, inspire current and future coach members, and support customer engagement and acquisition. This role focuses on writing and ideating content for newsletters, announcements, web content, blog posts, and email campaigns while also collaborating with the social media team.
Responsibilities
- Digital Communications Content : Write and edit digital communications to cover email, web, newsletter, blog, and campaign copywriting
- Draft compelling subject lines, headers, and calls-to-action that drive engagement
- Ensure content aligns with USTA Coaching’s voice, brand standards, and DEI values
- Content Ideation & Collaboration : Develop content ideas that highlight coach stories, player development, community programs, and awareness observances
- Provide creative input and story concepts for the social media team to translate into visuals and campaigns
- Brainstorm and pitch content themes tied to key dates and events
- Cross-Functional Coordination : Work with USTA Coaching departments to understand education, events, and benefits that should be presented to the USTA Coaching database
- Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure messaging consistency
- Oversee and manage the USTA Coaching content calendar with input from various departments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and / or relevant experienceMinimum 2-3 years of experience in content curation, editing, and writingStrong understanding of the tennis ecosystem preferred (players, coaches, parents, etc.)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skillsProficiency in digital tools and technologies relevant to content creation and management, and online learning platformsExcellent organizational skillsInitiative and persistence in completing tasks and responsibilitiesPosition is based in Orlando, FL at the USTA National Campus [hybrid workplace model]What We Offer
