Responsibilities Work in a general ultrasound unit within an acute care hospital setting Shifts are 4x10 hours per week with start times ranging from 7 : 00 AM to 11 : 30 AM, including some weekend coverage Assignments may require floating to a nearby affiliate hospital approximately 15 minutes away Epic EMR proficiency is required Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, families, visitors, and colleagues Modules must be completed pre-start and annually; up to 8 hours non-billable, based on specialty Strict requirements for requested time off; all RTO must be finalized at time of application and cannot be changed post-submittal Former staff must wait at least 6 months after their employment termination to be eligible for travel positions Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers First-time travelers are welcome Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), permanent or temporary Must be registered with ARDMS in both Abdomen and OB / GYN Bachelor’s degree in Sonography is preferred Ability to operate advanced ultrasound equipment and supportive devices Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work positively in a team setting Epic electronic charting experience is required COVID vaccination is required without exemptions License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628391.
