Cytotechnologist Opening – South Florida

A leading academic medical center in South Florida is looking for a Cytotechnologist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with exposure to a wide variety of cytologic specimens and procedures.

Highlights of the Role :

Work under the supervision of experienced Cytopathologists

Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens, including FNAs

Participate in Rapid On-Site Evaluations (ROSE) across services such as Bronchoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Surgical Clinics

Help maintain lab records and assist with supervisory duties when needed

What They’re Looking For :

Completion of a CAHEA-approved Cytotechnology training program (or equivalent as required for Florida licensure)

Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in Cytology (or eligibility)

National certification (e.g., ASCP) preferred

1 year of experience preferred but new grads are encouraged to apply
