Job Title : Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location : Bristol, RI

Pay Rate : $45 / hour

Schedule : Monday Friday

Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a nursing facility in Bristol, RI. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care as prescribed, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment records.
  • Educate residents and families on exercises and techniques to support recovery.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Active Rhode Island Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license .
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.

    • Schedule & Compensation :

  • Monday Friday schedule, daytime hours .
