Emergency Room RN Job Details Location : Orangeburg, SC 29118 (South Carolina nursing jobs) Facility : Acute Care Hospital - Emergency Department Assignment Type : Locum tenens / Travel Nursing Contract Start Date : November 4, 2025 End Date : February 3, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shifts : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) weekly Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Required to similar units as needed Charting System : Epic EMR Scrub Color : Royal Blue Parking : Free on-site Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1530 - $1640 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact Registered Nurse license (must be active before start) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Certifications (American Heart Association) : BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred : CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Proficiency with Epic EMR Ability to float to similar units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a busy 37-bed Emergency Department (130 visits / day) Assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent patient conditions Administer medications, IVs, blood products, and emergency interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response) Document and coordinate care using Epic EMR Adhere to infection control and safety protocols Participate in emergency response teams, especially during hurricane season (June-November) Float to similar units within scope to support hospital needs Apply now to join our healthcare team in Orangeburg, SC and experience the best of South Carolina nursing jobs while making a difference in patient care!
