Job descriptionAdmissions Required : Yes Are temporary privileges available? : Yes Patients Per Shift : Not specified Bed In Department : Up to 120 (ramp up growth) Rounding : Not Applicable Practice Setting : Inpatient Experience Preferred : MD. This position is open for one provider in conjunction with an NP search. Coverage Need : Geriatric Psychiatry. Coverage Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities : The selected candidate will manage a caseload of up to 12 geriatric psychiatry patients on the inpatient unit at Valley Springs Hospital. Duties include admissions, discharges, daily notes, and participation in family or agency meetings as needed. Full-Time Position : This is a full-time, onsite position with no on-call responsibilities or weekend coverage. Board Certification Requirement : Yes License Requirement : Licensed in MA only Fellowship : Required BLS Certification : Required Credentialing Timeframe : 30-45 days FULL
