Job descriptionRecovery and decommissioning of HVAC equipment (drinking fountains, refrigerators, ice machines) Maintain refrigerant logs and report to Environmental team Comply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials Complete special assignments including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general cleaning Assist operational staff with building equipment repair and maintenance Maintain clean and safe work environment Attend required safety training and comply with all safety policies State of Michigan Plumber's License (Required) EPA Section 608 Certification (Required) Regular and predictable attendance to support team and client needs Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain neat and accurate records Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety protocols and procedures Mobility : Stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl regularly Manual Dexterity : Use hands to finger, handle, and feel objects; talk and hear clearly Lifting Capacity : Regularly lift up to 10 pounds Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds (with team assistance) Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Work outdoors and in mechanical / equipment rooms Exposure to extreme weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and heavy equipment Regular exposure to wet / humid conditions, elevated locations, fumes, electrical hazards, and vibration Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals, extreme temperatures 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid Time Off and Company Holidays

Position Overview
JLL is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Mechanic specializing in plumbing to join our operations team. This role supports building maintenance and repair operations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Core Maintenance Functions
- Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and fabrication work
- Execute general office maintenance including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems
- Complete preventive maintenance (PM) work orders through Maximo system
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in Maximo system
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested
