Position Overview
JLL is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Mechanic specializing in plumbing to join our operations team. This role supports building maintenance and repair operations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Core Maintenance Functions
- Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and fabrication work
- Execute general office maintenance including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems
- Complete preventive maintenance (PM) work orders through Maximo system
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in Maximo system
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested
HVAC & Environmental Compliance
Recovery and decommissioning of HVAC equipment (drinking fountains, refrigerators, ice machines)Maintain refrigerant logs and report to Environmental teamComply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materialsAdditional Services
Complete special assignments including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general cleaningAssist operational staff with building equipment repair and maintenanceMaintain clean and safe work environmentAttend required safety training and comply with all safety policiesRequired Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications
State of Michigan Plumber's License (Required)EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)Skills & Attributes
