SMS is currently hiring for a Full-time assistant to work with Elementary students!

Successful team members :

Are dependable and consistent in their ability to be physically and mentally present for the children

Establish and enforce rules and boundaries of behavior for children in their classrooms.We have a very structured classroom environment.

Help children use resources and explore during learning and play activities using the Montessori method of learning

Help with homework and after school care

Expectations :

Monday-Friday

40 hrs / week

Ability to be on your feet

Ability to lift and move

Ability to conduct chores apart from child care (cleaning, etc.)

Willingness to engage with young children and other staff members

Requirements :

Ages 18 or older

High School Diploma or GED

CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to be certified

Experience with children (preferred)

We conduct random drug testing
