Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 10-Hour Days

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Valid nursing license

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Neuro IR / IR experience

Job Description :

• Work involves providing care in the Interventional Radiology unit, including Neuro IR and Body IR.
• Responsibilities include bridging staffing for the startup of the Neuro IR service.
• Operate within a unit that includes 7 suites and holding rooms.
• Collaborate with a team consisting of CV Invasive Rad Techs and other healthcare professionals.
• Use the Cupid system (EPIC & dynamics) for patient management and XperSystem for equipment management.
• Participate in weekend and holiday call rotations as needed (0700-0700).
• Respond to call requirements, typically 15 days per month, with decreasing frequency as permanent staff are added.
• Wear provided scrubs; Navy Blue for RNs.
• Utilize Omnicell and prepare certain medications in coordination with the pharmacy.
• Potential to float to Non-Invasive CV areas to start IVs.
• Undergo two shifts with a preceptor and complete a buddy call for Cath Lab orientation.
• Support all cardiac adult cases, including peripheral, cardiac catheterization, PCI, and device management.
• Familiarity with Acist injectors and experience with IABP and IVUS are advantageous.

Note : The position involves occasional floating to Non-Invasive CV units and requires participation in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends.
