Job description2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED 1st Time Travelers are ACCEPTED Locals are ACCEPTED EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED REQUIRED Certs : BCLS Must be able to take insulin and heparin drips. PREFERRED Certs : CPI Charge nurse experience Target Ratios : 1 : 6-7 Shift : 12HR NIGHTS 36 or 48 hours accepted. Charge role is required for night travelers. 13-26 weeks accepted RTO : 7 days MAX Call Requirement : Call required if put on call prescheduled shift. Float Requirement : Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding. Weekend Requirement : Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend Must be able to work holidays possibly of taking care of COVID patients. Traveler will be assigned to a Inclement Weather Team. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Adults and geriatrics. General Med / Surg Patients. Daily census ~43. Insulin Drips Heparin Drips Wound Vac Drsg Changes High Flow Oxygen We occasionally have limited short term BiPap with respiratory support. No additional training needed. Appropriate for all med / surg nurses. No PCU level patients on this unit.
