What You’ll Do

Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.
Champion equity by providing care that respects and affirms the identities, lived experiences, and challenges of each patient.
Participate in clinical quality improvement and contribute to our integrated model of care, which includes HIV services, behavioral health, and gender-affirming care.

Who You Are

A MD, DO, NP, or PA licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts.

Committed to delivering high-quality, culturally competent care in a fast-paced, community health setting.

Passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ communities, BIPOC patients, and other marginalized groups.

Eager to be part of a progressive organization that blends clinical care with advocacy, research, and education.

At least two years of clinical experience as an NP / PA in community health, public health, or trauma-informed care is highly valued.

Strong commitment to team-based care and an ability to thrive in a mission- and values-driven environment.

Requirements

MD, DO, PA, or NP degree

Current Massachusetts license

Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registrations

For Physicians : board certification in internal medicine, an internal medicine subspecialty, emergency medicine, or family practice

Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience (three years or greater) in a primary care setting

Previous experience working in pediatric care

Interest in LGBT healthcare

Experience working in an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse environment

Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, national origin and immigrant status, religious or spiritual identity, disability (physical, mental, emotional and developmental), veteran status, and / or limited English proficiency.

Willingness to contribute towards Fenway’s efforts in becoming an anti-racist organization and promoting a culture dedicated to ongoing development in service of humility, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, where differences are acknowledged and valued.

This is a union position in a Fenway Health bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.
