Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide individualized outpatient therapy for individuals and families, tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client, promoting healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support maintaining stable functioning and empower clients in their mental health journey.
  • Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, contributing your expertise to improve client care.
  • Complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations promptly, upholding high professional standards.
  • Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
  • Possession of a provisional license per state regulations, if required.
  • Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
  • A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including access to free supervision and continuing education.
  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management skills to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
