Job Overview

As part of our AWS Industries Team, you’ll collaborate with diverse team members to create customized AI solutions that transform the Media & Entertainment, Sports, and Games sectors. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative AI-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with AI / ML scientists, engineers, and architects to research, design, and develop cutting-edge generative AI algorithms, creating machine learning systems that address real-world issues.
  • Work directly with clients to identify their business challenges and assist in the effective implementation of generative AI solutions, while providing guidance on adoption and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and share best practices through tutorials, blog posts, publications, and presentations catered to various audiences, including technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Contribute feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help shape product development and future direction.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficient in statistical models, including multinomial logistic regression.
  • Skilled in data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, data science, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data scientist role.
  • At least 10 years of experience within the Media and Entertainment industries.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading and mentoring data science teams.
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant quantitative field.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and deep learning techniques (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer).
  • Hands-on experience with training and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
