About The Position

• 7 on / 7 off schedule Monday through Sunday coverage with mixed day and call shifts
• Daily patient load : 8 - 10 inpatients with approximately 3 admissions
• Weekday shifts 7am - 430pm, weekend coverage includes 4 hours onsite
• 20-minute call response time required with 1 : 3 call ratio
• Call can be taken from accommodations when not required onsite
• Average 5 phone consultations per shift
• Involves both independent and team-based rounding
• Cardiovascular surgery daily team meetings participation required
