Accounts Receivable, Billing Specialist
Location : Denver, CO (in-office)
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000, / year DOE
Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.
Responsibilities :
- Review contracts to identify billing deadlines, payment terms, and documentation requirements.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partnersincluding project stakeholders, vendors, and customersto ensure billing accuracy and alignment.
- Set up new projects / jobs within internal systems and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Review lien waivers, progress billing formats, and percent-completion requirements outlined in contracts.
- Prepare and issue a high volume of customer invoices each month.
- Process billing, invoicing, and payment confirmations through internal and third-party billing platforms.
- Manage billing documentation, including issuing waivers, submitting invoices through customer portals, and tracking required signatures.
- Receive necessary billing support documentation from project teams to prepare accurate invoices.
- Partner with project managers to ensure project billing aligns with contract terms and supporting documentation.
- Track and follow up on billing status, including rejections, adjustments, and change orders.
- Evaluate contract terms and project progress to ensure timely and accurate billing throughout each project lifecycle.
- Monitor percent completion milestones and prepare invoicing accordingly for various project phases and deliverables.
- Apply customer payments and verify accurate cash application.
- Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables as needed to support collections efforts.

Requirements :
