Manufacturing Team Leader

General Scope of Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. Incorporates operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and cost control policies and practices into manufacturing processes. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Collaborates with Supervisors to manage and resolve workforce issues and develop solutions. Ensures that facility milestones / goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Ensure manufacturing floor is in compliance with all safety regulations
- Establish goals for production and coordinate the optimal utilization of manufacturing workers and equipment to meet manufacturing goals.
- Prepare and deliver production reports weekly
- Assist in the justification, budgeting, and commissioning for new equipment.
- Coordinate manufacturing with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and other departments, as well as with vendors and shippers.
- Analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement; identify and utilize methods of making manufacturing process more efficient and effective.
- Direct corrective actions of any manufacturing problems that may arise; work with CITL in development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and other productivity improvement methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organizations objectives.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Participating actively in standardization and cost reduction projects.

Ability to deliver overtime to minimal via process development and planningKnowledge of kaizen, continuous improvement, 5S program knowledgeHigh level leadership and decision-making skillsAble to motivate, influence, and train peopleAble to interact with all professionals of Plant ManagementExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Education / Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain10 years of experience working in a production environment (Textile Industry desired)Physical Requirements :
