We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of administrative and customer service tasks efficiently. The role involves interacting with employees, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to employee inquiries via phone, addressing general questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Manage 20-30 incoming calls daily, providing accurate information and resolving issues as needed.
- Process unemployment claims efficiently and ensure all documentation is completed according to company standards.
- Support company compliance efforts by maintaining accurate records and adhering to established policies.
- Assist in filing complaints and follow up on resolution processes.
- Collaborate with team members to provide administrative support across various functions.
- Ensure data entry and order processing tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions, both inbound and outbound.
- Adapt to training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and performance.
- Previous experience in administrative roles.
- Tech Savvy, with experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls and respond effectively to diverse inquiries.
- Proficiency in electronic systems for document processing, such as I-9 verification.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt through training.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
