Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Montana requiring an active MT or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Provide nursing care in a Telemetry unit within a hospital setting

Patient population includes those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring

Assigned to variable day and night 12-hour shifts, including possible night shifts

Required to float to other departments within competency as needed

Uses Epic EMR for charting; prior Epic experience required or preferred

Three 12-hour shifts per week

Responsible for independent and delegated nursing functions, ongoing assessment, and care plan implementation

May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts as needed

Must document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines

May float to other areas based on staffing needs

Must complete drug screen and background check according to vendor requirements before start

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Active RN license in Montana or compact state required at time of application

Current AHA BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required depending on unit needs

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferred

Minimum 1 year recent experience in Telemetry nursing required

Must provide all valid certifications for consideration; pending licenses not accepted
