Job Description
Provide essential support in school environments by assisting students and staff during temporary absences. This flexible opportunity offers meaningful involvement in classrooms ranging from transitional kindergarten to high school.
Preferred Qualifications or Experience :
Prior experience working with youth in a classroom, camp, or afterschool program
Completion of high school (additional education may be required by some districts)
Understanding of child development or learning differences
Ability to implement teacher plans and school policies
Patience, adaptability, and effective communication
Key Responsibilities :
Support students in academic activities and assist with behavior redirection
Supervise students during recess, meals, and class transitions
Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support as needed
Assist students with disabilities in meeting educational and personal goals
Communicate effectively with classroom staff and follow provided guidance
Assignments are offered on an as-needed basis and vary in age group and school site.
