Locum Tenens General Radiology Physician Position Near BUFFALO, KY

  • Facility Considerations :

    • Please inform AC if a facility needs to be built, providing the facility name and a physical address.

  • If the provider floats between locations with the same credentialing, a float pool may need to be created.

    • Work Details

  • Specialty : General Radiology (Diagnostic), all onsite
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Contract Length : Through Fall, possibly longer
  • Shift Details :

    • Usually a 7 or 8 AM start, ending close to 5 or 6

  • 8-hour shift
  • Schedule : 3 weeks on, 1 week off

    • Patient Load

  • Support Staff : Working with 3 other Radiologists
  • Patients per Day : 120-200 average between 4 docs (X-ray : 65, CT : 55, UST : 15, MRI : 12, NUC : 3)
  • Reads Seen : On average day
  • Patient Population / Age : 18+
  • Department Description : PACS System : AGFA Enterprise; Equipment : All Siemens
  • EMR : Meditech
  • Hospital Bed Size : 222, occupying about 100-130
  • Skills Required : General Radiology (no mammography), Plain film, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine (limited), Thyroid Aspiration, Percutaneous Biopsy

    • Practice Setting

  • Setting : Hospital

    • Requirements

  • Board Certification : ABR Certification
  • State License Required : Yes
  • Certifications Preferred :
  • Certifications Required : BLS
  • Minimum Experience Required : 2 years
  • Credentialing Timeframe : Temp Priv : 45-60 days (if no lawsuits in background), Full Priv : 95-100 days
  • Willing to License : No
