We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to help grow our client base and build referral partnerships throughout Mississippi.
Position Summary
As the Part-Time Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our presence, building relationships with referral partners, and promoting our in-home care services to individuals and families. You will work under the general direction of the Sales Manager, but require self-motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage your time and territories effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, assisted living facilities, physician offices, elder law attorneys, social workers, discharge planners, senior communities, and community organizations.
Present and promote our home care services in-person (and / or virtually) to prospective clients, families, and referral partners.
Educate referral sources and prospective clients on our mission, services, differentiators, and why "About You In Home Care" is the preferred in-home care provider.
Generate leads and convert prospects into clients; follow up on inquiries / referrals in a timely manner.
Coordinate with internal teams (care coordination, admissions, operations) to ensure a smooth onboarding for new clients.
Track all sales and outreach activities in the CRM, reporting on key metrics (referral contacts, presentations scheduled / completed, proposals made, conversions, etc.).
Meet or exceed defined sales targets (which may be pro-rated for part-time status).
Attend networking events, community health fairs, senior expos, and other local outreach opportunities to increase brand visibility.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local home care market, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and referral source needs.
Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and adherence to company ethics and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required :
High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present confidently to a variety of audiences (healthcare professionals, families, community groups).
Self-motivated, organized, able to manage time effectively and work independently.
Comfort with technology : CRM use, email, Microsoft Outlook / Office.
Professional demeanor, dependable, strong interpersonal skills, capacity to build rapport.
Preferred :
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing - healthcare / home care experience is a strong plus. For example, previous roles in home health, hospice or senior care.
Understanding of referral processes in the home care or home health industry (physician referrals, discharge planning, etc.)
Familiarity with local senior care market and networks in Mississippi.
