Overview

Position : Physical Therapist Assistant - Lymphedema / Pelvic Health / Ortho

Location : Louisville, KY

Schedule : Full time, Monday - Friday

Compensation : Starting at $22.00 / hr, commensurate with experience

Our KORT community-oriented outpatient center in Louisville is looking for a compassionate, caring and driven licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional patient care on a full time basis. We serve a diverse specialty caseload, including pelvic health and oncology. Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply, as we are able to train in specialty caseloads. Student rotation experience in pelvic health and / or cancer rehab preferred.

Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provide quality care to our patients and grow with the nation’s leader in outpatient physical therapy. Caseload will be primarily oncology and / or pelvic health with potential for some ortho as caseload dictates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTAs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certified
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Interest / experience in cancer rehabilitation (student rotations considered)
  • Interest / experience in pelvic health (student rotations considered)
  • Outpatient ortho experience (student rotations considered)
