Post-operative craniotomy patients. Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery patients. Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients involved in our Comprehensive Stroke Program . High volumes of cervical and spinal surgery patients along with medical overflow cases. Deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care using the nursing process. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe, compassionate care. Utilize clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking for optimal patient outcomes. Enhance patient experiences across all care stages. Be part of a supportive team culture that values connection with regular team-building activities and community outreach. Thrive in an environment that promotes teamwork, learning, and patient-centered care . Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness, including involving patients and families in care planning. Recognize significant changes in patient conditions and alter care plans as necessary. Implement strategies to promote patient safety and meet educational needs of patients and families. Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach and apply evidence-based practices. Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes while actively participating in shared governance initiatives. Demonstrate effective communication, conflict resolution, and assume a leadership role in care teams. Promote patient safety by identifying risks and intervening to prevent harm. Participate in quality improvement initiatives contributing to department and patient care functions. Contribute to professional development and mentorship, attending required meetings and completing competencies. Provide age-appropriate care with the knowledge of growth and development principles. Registered Nurse license in the practicing state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Demonstrate holistic patient care with a family-focused approach. Recognize changes requiring intervention and respond with confidence and flexibility. Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical records. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Develop rapport with patients and work collaboratively within teams. Make critical, independent decisions effectively. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities. Manage time effectively, multi-task, and prioritize in dynamic environments. Exhibit coordination, collaboration, and team-building skills. Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, and reach frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. overhead, and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance. Push / pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform sliding transfers of 150 lbs. with assistance. May be exposed to chemical and hazardous substances; protective equipment required. Must be able to use foot pedals, and demonstrate adequate speech, vision, hearing, and touch for necessary functions.

Nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift
