Description :

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care to patients during labor and delivery.

The nurse will assist in the delivery of patients with varying obstetrical conditions.

The position will require the ability to manage patient care in high-stress situations.

Nurses will facilitate vaginal and cesarean deliveries as necessary.

Successful candidates will demonstrate experience with patient ratios typically at 1 : 3.

The nurse will participate in the care of both mothers and their newborns.

Assessments and monitoring of fetal heart rates will be a key responsibility.

Management of postpartum care will also be required.

Communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Flexibility to float within the facility scope when needed is necessary.

Attendance is strictly monitored, and missed shifts will lead to consequences.

Completion of assigned modules is required prior to the start date.

There are specific restrictions on time off during the assignment.

The selected candidate must possess experience with EPIC charting systems.
