Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer (ACSSO) / Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO)
STR is excited to present an opportunity for an Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer (ACSSO) / Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) to manage a diverse portfolio of programs executed out of our Woburn, Massachusetts office. The successful candidate will collaborate with security management, program management, program personnel, and customer security to ensure compliance with U.S. Government directives, regulations, and requirements. Responsibilities :
- Maintain a high level of security posture to ensure continuous compliance with multiple classified programs throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC)
- Ensure adherence to DoD Special Access Program (SAP) and IC security policies and requirements within DoDM 5205.07 and ICD 705.
- Support STR Program Management and Technical Staff to provide excellent customer service
- Partner with disciplines within Security and Operations, to include CSSOs / CPSOs, Personnel Security, Information Assurance, Classified IT, the Facility Security Officer, and Facilities
- Assist in conducting self-inspections with CSSO / CPSO
- Assist in the development and approval of Standard Operating Procedures, Program Protection (P2), Operations Security Plans, and transportation plans
- Maintain classified material accountability records, to include Top Secret accountability
- Assist in writing, interpreting, and implementing DD254s and supporting documentation
- Investigate and document security incidents and provide remedial trainings + corrective actions
- Attend, support, and participate in program meetings, staff meetings, telecons, etc.
- Perform other duties in partnership with CSSO / CPSO as assigned
Requirements :
Active Top Secret with SAP / SCI eligibilityKnowledge of and demonstrated application of the U.S. Government security standardsAbility to prepare appropriate reports and documents using various office tools such as : MS Office, DISS, JADE, SIMS, TALON, and NISSWorking knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Special Access Program Security Manuals, ICD 705, and other related security manualsAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulationsAbility to interpret policy and to develop and implement security plans and proceduresAbility to travel on company business (approximately 5%)Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage complex communication scenariosEducation :
Bachelor's degree + 2 years, Master's degree, or equivalent experience.Pay Information :
Full-Time Salary Range : $90,000 - $110,000 The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors, such as but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, key skills / critical skills, security clearances, and prevailing market and business conditions.
