General Laborer Opportunity

Do you love working with your hands outdoors? Work with the #1 landscaping company in the Raleigh, NC area.

The General Laborer operates in a safe manner the following equipment :

  • Mowers (walk-behind, push and riding)
  • Backpack sprayers and blowers
  • Edgers, string trimmers, chain saws and hedge trimmers
  • Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools

You may be asked to help in other divisions such as installation or hardscapes as needed.

Required Skills :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
  • Ability to follow oral instructions from Foreman or Crew Leader
  • Must wear work boots, Currin Outdoor Living uniforms present yourself in a clean and polite manner
  • Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
  • Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required
  • Valid Driver's license preferred but not required
  • Must comply with Currin's policies and procedures
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

    • Pay and Benefits :

  • Starting pay of $15-18 per hour
  • True overtime paid after 40 hours / wk
  • Health insurance supplement offered after 90 days
  • Paid vacation and paid holidays after 90 days
