Job Title : Administrative AssistantJob Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to support our department's day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values teamwork. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations, supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
Provide standard clerical and administrative support, including data entry, reporting, presentations, and basic budgeting.
Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations.
Serve as the primary administrative contact for office-related inquiries.
Maintain routine correspondence and order office supplies.
Support new employee onboarding and basic IT setup, including monitors and docking stations.
Coordinate and manage onsite visitors.
Arrange travel and logistics for the team.
Lead event planning and employee activities.
Recommend solutions and alternatives when stock or supplies are unavailable.
Collaborate with team members and external representatives to resolve issues and improve processes.
Perform other duties as required.
Essential Skills
GED or High School Diploma
At least 1 year of administrative support or relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to multitask, adapt to changing needs, and handle confidential information responsibly
Strong organizational skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Customer service experience is a plus
Associate or Bachelor’s degree
Exposure to engineering or technology fields
Experience with Excel Pivot Tables
Positive attitude
Ability and openness or flexibility to help out / jump in to help where needed
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
Work Environment
This position is 100% in-office with a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires regularly sitting at a desk and operating standard office equipment, with occasional standing, walking, lifting, carrying, or moving up to 10 pounds.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Juliet, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
