About the Opportunity

Wallace Roofing & Exterior Construction is looking for our first-ever Marketing Associate – Canvassing to help us expand our local reach and connect with homeowners in the community.

This is a ground-floor opportunity — the right person will help shape this role and, as our marketing efforts grow, could advance into team leadership or marketing management.

We’re a fast-growing local roofing and exterior construction company, and right now, door-to-door canvassing delivers our best return on investment. Your primary focus will be meeting homeowners, sharing what we do, and setting up appointments for potential projects. If this approach performs well, we’ll expand your responsibilities into other marketing channels — and you could lead that growth.

This position is ideal for someone who’s driven, personable, and eager to grow with a company that rewards performance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct door-to-door canvassing to generate qualified leads and set appointments

Represent Wallace Roofing & Exterior Construction professionally in local neighborhoods

Maintain accurate notes and follow-up details for each contact

Assist with marketing activities such as flyer distribution, event prep, and social media ideas

Help manage our presence at local home shows and community events

Aim to schedule at least one qualified lead per day worked

What We’re Looking For

Reliable, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Outgoing and confident speaking with homeowners

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized and able to work independently

Experience in canvassing, marketing, or sales is a plus — but we’ll train the right person

Compensation & Growth

Hourly pay (based on experience)

Performance bonuses and commissions for jobs you help generate

Example : $10,000 project = $100–$300 bonus

Performance-based growth path :

Stage 1 : Marketing Associate – Canvassing

Stage 2 : Canvassing Team Lead / Marketing Coordinator

Stage 3 : Director of Marketing
