Job descriptionDay shifts : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM with 5 physicians and 2 APPs Swing shift : 10 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 PM with 1 physician Night shifts : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM with 1 physician and 1 APP Nocturnist Patient Care : Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of various conditions. Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Documentation : Utilize the EMR system to document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team effectively. Orientation : Participate in a one-day orientation, including a shadow shift for hands-on learning and EMR training. Board Certification : Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM). Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitalist or similar setting. Licensure : Must have an active medical license in the state of Texas or be eligible to obtain one. Competencies : Competent in handling a wide range of medical conditions and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. New Program : This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new hospitalist program, offering a chance to shape and develop the service.
