LocumJobsOnline is working with CompHealth to find a qualified Geriatrics MD in Venice, Florida, 34293!

About The Position

Venice is a city on Florida's Gulf Coast. It is known for Venice Beach, with its offshore coral reef, and Caspersen Beach, where shark teeth are often found. Multiuse trails hug the Intracoastal Waterway in Venetian Waterway Park. Other green spaces include Centennial Park, with its interactive fountain, and the Monty Andrews Arboretum at West Blalock Park. Oscar Scherer State Park is home to Florida scrub jays.

  • 8 am - 5 pm schedule with minimal shared call coverage
  • Focus on complex geriatric patients ages 65+
  • Value-based care experience with HEDIS measures preferred
  • Work with 2 strong APPs in collaborative team environment
  • eClinicalWorks EMR system and HCC coding experience valued
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in geriatric medicine
  • No residents, direct patient care focus
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required
