Basic Qualifications : Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for a controlled billet in accordance with DoD Instruction 5210.42 Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Senior Advanced Engineering Technician will act as a leader and mentor to new technicians in the support of engineering activities such as designing, testing, checking-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser / light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing the following : Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and understand the necessary interfaces Performs complex system level troubleshooting to component level Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions Lays out, builds, calibrates, adjusts, installs and maintains equipment, components, devices or systems

What You Bring to the Table : A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in D / C electronics and troubleshooting Understands implications of work and provides applicable solutions Distinct knowledge of specialized function and proficiency in application and interpretation of complex specifications, requirements, standards and practices

Workplace Options : This position is 100% onsite. While on-site, you will be a part of the Silverdale, WA Team. Target salary range : USD $36.92 / Hr. - USD $39.60 / Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
