Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Meet performance targets and contribute to the success of the department.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for all treatments and progress.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy procedures and equipment use.

Stay updated with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.

Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment is properly maintained and functioning.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Analyze data to identify trends and improve patient care strategies.

Assist in the development of respiratory therapy protocols and procedures.

Contribute to a positive and productive work environment through teamwork and communication.

Experience / Qualifications

Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois.

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Minimum of 2 years experience in respiratory therapy.

Strong analytical skills to assess patient data and treatment outcomes.

Ability to work effectively in a high-visibility, target-driven environment.

Proficient in the use of respiratory therapy equipment and technology.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to team success and department goals.

Experience in developing and implementing care plans.
