ICU Nursing Job Details

Location : Derry, New Hampshire (Zip : 03038) – Southern NH healthcare jobs

Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 8 beds, mixed patient population, open ICU

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780 - $1910

Scheduling : Self-scheduling encouraged; flexible scheduling; every other weekend

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of Medical / Surgical ICU nursing experience

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required

Experience with arterial line blood pressure (AIBP) and invasive hemodynamic monitoring preferred

CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred

Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse ICU patient population

Manage ventilator care, therapeutic hypothermia, PCI / STEMI, IABP, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE / cardioversion, temporary pacer, sepsis, stroke / TPA, and DKA

Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls

Utilize GE B650 cardiac monitors, ventilators, and Gaymar cooling equipment

Document patient care using Meditech electronic health record system

Participate in hourly rounding, bedside care conferences, and effective hand-offs

Float to critical care or intermediate care areas as needed

Maintain professional appearance in scrubs at all times
