Job Description

Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in data analytics or data governance.
  • Experience :

  • Proven problem-solving aptitude and solid understanding of data and its use within the organization
  • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and application interfaces, database concepts, and general IT concepts (e.g. virtualization, cloud computing, platforms)
  • Must be an adaptable self-starter. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively
  • Ability to produce to an established schedule
  • A high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
  • Experience working in a team environment under time constraints
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience in the creation and development of policies and procedures
  • Must have strong collaboration skills working with technical and business SMEs
  • At least beginner understanding of SQL
  • Informatica experience is a plus
  • Overview : The CLIENT / Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting development and governance of the information management program including the CLIENT, Strategy, and creation and maintenance of data related policies. This role provides leadership for clients’ focus on governing our data as an asset. They are responsible for the development of data policies and procedures and will work closely with other business divisions to collect, prepare, organize, and analyze data assets. This position will also support the data quality program and creation of data quality scorecards and KPIs.

    Essential Duties :

  • Supports the CLIENT vision for business-wide data activities and champions data ownership, standardization, accessibility and governance including the information management roadmap
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of the Data Governance Charter and related data strategies
  • Supports development of data governance frameworks and guidelines, including data classification, data ownership, and data stewardship
  • Collaboratively oversees cross-functional data governance while ensuring adoption and adherence to data quality and governance activities
  • Leads efforts to determine appropriate policy and standards of information management for the utilization, cleansing and privacy of information assets
  • Provides expertise and guidance in the administration for data retention policy and process
  • Provides guidance and training to the business users on data governance best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Performs statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity
  • Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleansing data
  • Supports the development of a data quality scorecard and KPIs
  • Stays updated on industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements related to data governance and recommend appropriate modifications to existing policies and practices
  • Support the creation of policies and procedures as they related to CLIENT and other regulatory requirements
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
