What You'll Bring :

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required and 4+ years of experience as an attorney with a strong litigation history.
  • FCRA litigation experience is required
  • Ability to work closely in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with other attorneys, executives and administrators.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills (logic, problem solving, issue spotting, and decision making).
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a significant and diverse work flow in an effective and timely manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Impact You'll Make :

  • Strategically analyzing and valuing resolution of of in-house FCRA individual litigation matters including root cause analysis, initial case strategies and updating / reporting to senior leaders regarding these matters, business impact, and lessons learned.
  • Provide proactive legal counsel to stakeholders, including TransUnion management.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft settlement agreements and related documents.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company-related business
  • Percentage of work :

  • 20% strategic thought and legal analysis
  • 80% individual contributing management of litigation portfolio
  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
