About Us

HD Build is a fast-growing subcontractor specializing in drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and painting. We’re known for quality, reliability, and strong relationships with our clients and crews. We do projects in Utah and we do quite a bit of work across the US. We’re seeking a Construction Superintendent who can lead with integrity, organization, and excellent communication — in both English and Spanish.

Position Summary

The Superintendent oversees daily field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards . This role requires strong leadership with the ability to connect with field crews and build trust with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate field crews across multiple trades (framing, drywall, insulation, acoustical, painting).
  • Maintain project schedule, manpower planning, and inventory using technology tools.
  • Enforce HD Build’s safety program and quality standards daily.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, inspectors, and general contractors.
  • Build strong relationships with foremen and crews, ensuring a positive and productive jobsite culture.
  • Track progress, prepare daily logs, and provide regular project updates.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and resolve field conflicts quickly and effectively.
  • Train field crew and foreman in leadership, quality, efficiency, and all aspects of our scopes.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience; drywall and framing background strongly preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience as Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent.
  • Eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using technology (tablets, scheduling software, inventory tools, Buildertrend / Procore / Google Sheets / Docs or similar).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
