Construction Project Manager
Location : Richmond, VA (Fully Onsite at a Healthcare Facility)

About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Construction Project Managers to join a major healthcare organization in Richmond, VA. This position requires onsite presence and involves overseeing new construction and renovation projects, some exceeding $100 million in budget.
The organization is in a phase of rapid development and expansion, and these PMs will serve as key agents, ensuring successful project execution within healthcare facility environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the onsite representative for the organization—manage daily activities across construction sites.
- Conduct walkthroughs and site inspections; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare construction standards and protocols throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee contractor performance and enforce contractual obligations.
- Manage construction timelines, budgeting, compliance, and documentation.
- Monitor adherence to local (Richmond / VA) building codes and healthcare construction regulations.
- Participate in high-level strategy discussions and report project status to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of construction project management experience, with a focus on healthcare construction.Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects ($100M+ budgets).In-depth understanding of healthcare construction requirements , compliance, and regulatory environments.Experience with construction management tools such as Procure, eBuilder, MS Project , or similar platforms.Knowledge of Virginia and Richmond-specific building codes .Strong leadership, vendor management, and communication skills.Preferred Certifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) – PreferredCCM (Certified Construction Manager) – PreferredExperience with LEED-certified buildings – a plusInterview Process
