Salary : $175,000-180,000

Job Summary

As VP of Operations, you will ensure that assigned business operations are efficient and effective. You will manage resources, distribute services to customers, and analyze systems to meet the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet commitment to results for all areas of responsibility including client retention and satisfaction, financial performance, regulatory compliance, purchasing, culinary standards, human resources, and retail & marketing programs.
  • Direct business to achieve high performance as measured by the company scorecard.
  • Build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify client needs, communicate account progress and new company programs to client.
  • Conduct and / or monitor customer, client and associate satisfaction surveys.
  • Visit clients and facilities regularly.
  • Deliver corporate communications and priorities to both the regional team and clients.
  • Build an effective, results‑achieving regional team.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Ensure all direct reports correct issues at client units that fail to attain corporate satisfaction levels.
  • Develop and monitor realistic budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure the region meets financial performance and client forecasts.
  • Participate in the sales process by working with the pre‑proposal site survey team and approving final contact.
  • Ensure Operations team members perform responsibilities effectively.
  • Ensure audits are conducted at all facilities, including financial, contractual, sanitation, food safety, and human resources audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 12–15 years upscale food service experience, including 10 years at management level and 5–7 years multi‑unit management.
  • Experience in personnel management – hiring, supervision, evaluation, succession planning.
  • Ability to multi‑task and maintain focus amid constant interruptions.
  • Ability to make business decisions based on financial reports.
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage and use.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret administrative policies.
