Pay Rate : $62 / hour

Associate's degree in nursing (ASN)One Year of Experience in NursingCurrent unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and / or territories.Basic Life Support (BLS)Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP)Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE)A thorough knowledge of electronic fetal / uterine monitoring (placement, maintenance, and interpretation) is required.US CitizenNACI background checkRESPONSIBILTIES :
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.Perform critical care duties to include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating age-specific nursing care across all ages.Perform physical exam and health histories.Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans / actions, for teaching / education to benefit the patient / family and organization.Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomesProvide comprehensive professional neonatal care to critically ill neonatal patients in the NICU.NICU RNs are responsible for infants throughout tour of duty and have extensive knowledge and experience and have the skill for concentrated effort and are self–motivating to carry out patient care requirements.Responsible for caring for infants with a variety of respiratory support devices such as oscillators, vents, iNO, CPAP, SIPAP, nasal cannula and trach tubes.Participate in the development and updating of patient care plan.Monitor IV fluids, blood, and blood products, check rate, volume, and insertion site. Perform neonatalcatheter care. Change fluid containers and tubing. Recognize potential problems and take corrective action.Perform basic infant care procedures, lifting, turning, transporting, and positioning. Providing personal hygiene care, changes linens, clothing, and feeds infants to include NG / OG, PO, G-tube feedings.Support, assist and instruct breast feeding Mothers to promote maximum nutritional needs based on Mothers' desire to breast feed.Set up or assist in setting up and use specialized equipment such as ventilator support oxygen delivery systems, drainage suction devices, hypothermic units, and infusion pumps.Mix and administer prescribed medication orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously.Serve as a resource person whom other critical care nurses and other health providers consult when particularly difficult problems in care of critically ill patients arise.Serves as a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Team; attends high-risk deliveries and initiates neonatal resuscitative measures as directed.HCW's will be required to float within similar specialtiesIf interested, please apply through this job post.
