Medical Assistant

Salary Range : $16.11 Hourly Onwards

Rooming patients for providers, including chart prep, chief complaint, HPI, medication reconciliation and obtaining vitals

Performing care-related tasks such as administration of immunizations and injections, CLIA-waived lab testing, suture / staple removal, EKGs, wound care and assisting with in-office procedures

Administers and records screening tests in development, hearing, and vision as ordered

Assists providers during exams and procedures as needed

Responding to telephone calls from patients, pharmacies, and other medical professionals and relaying provider orders and / or results for medications, labs, imaging, and DME

Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and sterilizing instruments

Assists with clean up in the team room at end of day; secures PHI, locks all necessary cabinets; checks refrigerator temperatures; counts narcotics / controlled substances (if applicable)

Provides and documents chronic care management services and population health management activities as assigned

Participating in clinic process improvement activities and team meetings to ensure efficient operations

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Performing other duties as assigned
