Research Associate in Carbon Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications

The School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW is recruiting a Research Associate to conduct independent and team-based research on carbon nanomaterials for biomedical applications. The role involves synthesis, optimisation, characterisation, catalytic analysis, and biological testing of nanomaterials and will contribute to scientific publications, conferences, and collaboration with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments across synthesis, optimisation, and characterisation of nanomaterials.
• Perform catalytic analysis and biological testing of carbon nanomaterials.
• Prepare scientific papers and reports for international journals.
• Supervise HDR students and engage with industry partners.
• Participate in conferences and workshops to advance research objectives.
