Manual Machinist Pay Rate and Hours :
- $29.00-$31.50 / HR plus a $2.00 / hr shift differential
- Monday through Friday, 2 : 00 pm-10 : 30 pm
Manual Machinist Job Description :
Operate VTL's, Engine Lathes, Radial Drill / Mill(Bridgeport, Mecof), keyway, balance, TOSPlans how operations will be performed on the machine. This includes part holding and alignment and proper tooling.Read and followed complex blueprints and sketches, made machine and tooling adjustments for a wide range of parts, and operated both part and tool probing for accurate measurements, along with a variety of precision measuring instruments to verify exact tolerances and finishes.Perform required mathematical computations. Run through involved tooling and processPerform minor maintenance and servicing of machines, such as cleaning and oiling machines.Operate crane, forklift, and other power equipment.Set up and operated other assigned machine tools.Manual Machinist Job Requirements :
Completion of two to four years of Trade / Technical School, or equivalent, requiring the use of advanced shop mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.High School DiplomaMust be able to read and write EnglishKey Personnel Benefits
