Job Description : Chief Technical Architect (CTA) Role Summary

The Chief Technical Architect (CTA) is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture vision across business units and technology domains. This includes aligning architecture with business goals, enabling platform-led innovation, and rationalizing legacy systems-especially critical in transformation programs like mergers and acquisitions.

  • Define future-state architecture aligned with business growth, speed, and customer experience.
  • Rationalize legacy systems post-acquisition and enable platform-led innovation.
  • Partner with CTO and senior leadership to ensure architectural governance and stakeholder alignment.

Execution & Governance

  • Establish architecture councils and federated teams for governance.
  • Drive simplification and modernization across workstreams.
  • Sequence initiatives for quick wins and long-term capabilities.

    • Measurement & Success Metrics

  • Define KPIs such as :

    • Time-to-market for new services

    Reduction in technical debt

    API adoption rates

    Platform scalability

    Stakeholder satisfaction
