UX / UI Designer

Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a w eek.

Key Required Skills

Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles to include documenting user requirements and user needs and pain point); Interaction / Interface design experience utilizing user-centered methods; front-end development utilizing HTML / CSS / Javascript

Position Description

• Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design browser-based interfaces, and design and conduct usability testing.
• Interact on a daily basis with development team on the creation of new web components for the design system.
• Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders
• Creation of anatomy diagrams for new UI elements (in the form of web components)
• Support the creation and maintenance for design toolkits in the latest design tools (Figma, Axure 10, XD, etc) used by the UX Design Team
• Support the continuation of design token integration with the design system
• Facilitate customer discovery sessions
• Create and refine screen prototypes
• Document user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations
