Key Responsibilities

Provide medical surgical and preventative care for a variety of animal patients

Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans

Educate clients on pet health nutrition and preventive care

Conduct routine wellness exams and administer vaccinations

Perform or assist with surgical procedures and dental care

Mentor and collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff

Maintain accurate medical records and follow best practices for patient care

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)

Licensed to practice in New York and passed the NAVLE

Skilled in small animal and / or large animal care including routine surgery

Strong communicator and team-oriented professional
