KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Cyber Defense Architect to join our Advisory Services practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, implementation, testing, and engineering for large?scale cyber defense and security operations program
- Define guidance on security architecture, assisting clients with reducing their attack surface and optimizing their cyber defensive capabilities to adapt to modern threats
- Facilitate delivery of large?scale security operations architecture and engineering program
- Innovate next generation cyber defense solutions that help minimize impact, decrease likelihood, and increase adaptability to cyber threats
- Innovate cyber threat management and security automation programs leveraging AI and machine learning
- Present firm?based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings
Qualifications
A minimum of five years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related fieldBachelor's degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent experience; cyber security, cyber defense, and / or technical infrastructure certificationsHands?on experience with security data engineering, extract / transformation / load (ETL), scripting and query languages such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, and cloud technologiesExperience designing enterprise?scale technology systems, orchestrating automation and optimizing processes for time and / or cost efficiencyExperience with object?oriented programming, software architecture, parameterization, storage / compute optimization and interoperability designWillingness to take a critical eye to security tooling capabilities and present defendable, technical justifications for decisions and designsAbility and willingness to travel, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid paceMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment?based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
