Job Summary :

The Mobile Home Community Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of community operations, including property management, resident relations, financial performance, and maintenance. This is a hybrid role and it combines traditional management duties with hands-on maintenance work to ensure the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is both a people leader and a problem solver, capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with practical, on-site maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will also be bilingual in English and Spanish

Manage daily transactions related to rent collection, fees, and payments using Rent Manager.Prepare bank deposits, reconcile resident accounts, and generate financial reports.Monitor resident delinquencies, communicate outstanding balances, and implement collection procedures.Process and approve invoices from vendors and contractors, ensuring proper coding and reconciliation.Enforce lease agreements and oversee eviction procedures as necessary.Process resident move-outs, including security deposit reconciliation and final disposition.Resident Relations & Community Engagement :
Respond to resident concerns, questions, and service requests in a timely manner.Promote a positive and welcoming community atmosphere while enforcing park rules.Participate in local community activities to support and enhance the parks reputation.Property Operations & Maintenance Coordination :
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and maintaining water lines.Handle general mobile home maintenance such as minor carpentry, flooring, door / window repairs, and skirting replacements.Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting (e.g., outlet replacement, light fixture installation).Maintain community grounds, including mowing, edging, weed trimming, and general landscaping.Perform seasonal property maintenance such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, and debris removal as needed.Ensure community cleanliness through regular trash pickup, common area cleaning, and disposal of large items.Conduct inspections of vacant homes and lots, ensuring they are rent-ready and meet safety standards.Assist with move-ins and move-outs, including light repairs and cleaning as needed.Maintain and operate community tools and equipment safely and efficiently.Report major repairs, hazards, or maintenance needs promptly to ownership or management.Oversee the upkeep of common areas and coordinate maintenance and repairs.Work with vendors and contractors to ensure services are completed effectively and efficiently.Ensure compliance with community policies and safety standards.Sales & Marketing :
Collaborate with corporate teams to develop marketing strategies to meet occupancy goals.Facilitate the sale of mobile homes within the community, including marketing, conducting tours, and negotiating terms.Maintain records of home sales and transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.Promote and showcase available homes to prospective residents, ensuring timely follow-ups.Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all Federal Fair Housing Act regulations and housing laws.Implement and enforce community policies to maintain a legally compliant living environment.This job description outlines the general responsibilities of the role and may be subject to change based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS AS THE MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY MANAGER
Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds2-3 years of managerial experience of a mobile home communityBilingual in English and Spanish preferredCompetence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as community software applicationsMust be highly motivated, be able to work independently, solve problems involving : residents, personnel, finances, equipment / maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with prospective buyers and residents effectively.Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, state regulations, and best practices related to property management and home sales.Possess strong written and oral communication skills.Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and / or whenever present at the community.Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with additional hours as required for proper management of assetAbility to solve problemsWilling to learn and a drive to improve community / assetValid driver's license and clean background requiredDisclosures :
